County Kilkenny in Song

County Memory

The memory behind Kilkenny in Song

County Kilkenny is full of visible heritage: medieval streets, stone buildings, craft, river life, villages, old churches and a strong artistic atmosphere. It feels like a county where the past is not hidden, but walked through in ordinary life.

In Ireland in Song, Kilkenny can become a county of stone, craft and colour. Its songs may move between the city, rural towns, rivers, workshops, festivals and local families. The tone should be textured, elegant and warm, with living heritage rather than museum stillness.
